Your response and participation are important. This monthly survey will help substantiate the need for recovery resources for Miami-Dade based nonprofit cultural institutions and arts organizations.
The Paycheck Protection (PPP) has reopened with new funding approved by Congress. Our colleagues at the Beacon Council have made a resource available to “small businesses” to help navigate the federal opportunities for COVID-19 support. “Small businesses” include 501(c)3 organizations with less than 500 employees.

Please see the notice below from the Americans for the Arts Action Fund regarding the availability of additional federal funds available through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Nonprofits and self-employed individuals can access $60 billion of these PPP funds reserved for community banks to process loans for smaller groups.

As promised, the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs is providing you with the results of the survey of non-profit arts and cultural organizations substantiating the COVID-19 financial and job losses for the month of March. Based on the data from the COVID-19 Survey of Impact on Miami-Dade County's Cultural Community for the month of March, the COVID-19 pandemic has a total financial impact of $22.8 million on nonprofit arts and cultural organizations and has affected 1,700 arts and cultural jobs.
