Join the Miami Emerging Arts Leaders for a virtual, interactive Zoom networking session to kick off the new year!

Miami-Dade County is home to more than 40,000 cultural workers. Build community and connect with other passionate arts professionals of all disciplines.  Whether you are new to Miami’s art scene or an established cultural leader, you are invited to introduce yourself and mingle with other arts professionals.  All arts leaders welcome!

Hear directly from Johann as he discusses his path to leadership and his experiences leading one of Miami’s major cultural institutions through turbulent times.

Miami Emerging Arts Leaders - Conversations with Miami’s Cultural Pioneers: Rosie Gordon-Wallace

Join the Miami Emerging Arts Leaders for a virtual interview with arts advocate, community leader, and pioneer, Rosie Gordon-Wallace, Founder and Curator of the Diaspora Vibe Cultural Arts Incubator (DVCAI), with opening remarks by Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs Director Michael Spring.  DVCAI serves as a local and global laboratory dedicated to promoting, nurturing, and cultivating the vision and diverse talents of emerging artists from the Caribbean Diaspora, artists of color, and immigrant artists.

Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and the Proposed County Arts and Cultural Budget

Last night, Miami-Dade County Daniella Levine Cava convened a virtual town meeting about the proposed FY 22-23 budget for the arts and cultural community. Mayor Levine Cava shared the great news that her proposed budget includes increased support for the arts and progressively addresses many other key issues facing our community.
