Venezuela Earthquake ReliefMiami-Dade County is coming together to support the people of Venezuela following a series of devastating earthquakes that caused widespread damage to homes, hospitals, schools, and critical infrastructure, leaving thousands of families in urgent need of food, clean water, medical care, and other essential supplies. Home to one of the nation's largest Venezuelan communities, Miami-Dade stands in solidarity with our neighbors, friends, and loved ones affected by this tragedy.

Tourist Development Grants Program (TDC)

A quarterly program which provides support to significant cultural and/or special events, including sports activities and television/film origination projects that promote Miami-Dade County's appeal as a tourist destination. Activities must be able to stimulate tourism and have significant media impact for Miami-Dade County.

South Florida Cultural Consortium Grant to Visual & Media Artists - Now Accepting Applications

Artists interested in applying for the South Florida Cultural Consortium's Visual and Media Artists Grant Program are encouraged to attend one of several upcoming online workshops. The program awards grants of $15,000 and $7,500 to visual and media artists residing in Broward, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe, and Palm Beach counties. The workshops will provide an overview of the application process, explain how applications are reviewed, and offer tips for strengthening submissions. Attendance is encouraged but not required.

Oolite Arts Open Calls 2027 Artist Opportunities - Now Accepting Applications

Applications are now open for Oolite Arts' 2027 programs, including The Ellies Awards, Studio Residency, Home + Away Residency, and Cinematic Residency. Designed for South Florida artists and filmmakers, these opportunities offer funding, studio space, mentorship, professional development, and residency experiences both locally and abroad. Interested applicants can learn more through upcoming Oolite Arts information sessions and workshops.

Arts at Play: Where Arts and Sport Meet on Miami-Dade County's Global Stage

Arts at Play continues throughout the summer with a dynamic lineup of performances, exhibitions, fitness activations, and community-driven events across Miami-Dade County. Presented by the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and supported by a $30,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, Arts at Play: Where Arts and Sport Meet on Miami-Dade County's Global Stage celebrates the connection between creativity, community, and sport as Miami-Dade County prepares to welcome the FIFA World Cup 2026™.

Upcoming highlights include Get in the Game: Sports, Art, Culture x Summer Sweat Series at the Pérez Art Museum Miami every Thursday through July 30, and Freedom Family Day at the Freedom Tower on Sunday, July 12. Together, these events offer residents and visitors accessible opportunities to experience the arts while celebrating the unifying spirit of sport on Miami-Dade County's global stage.

FIFA World Cup 2026™ Miami Host Committee and Miami-Dade County Celebrate New Community Legacy Art Installations

The FIFA World Cup 2026™ Miami Host Committee, in collaboration with the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, Department of Transportation & Public Works, and Street Art for Mankind, recently unveiled two new public art installations as part of the ONE GAME ONE PASSION community legacy initiative. The projects celebrate the power of soccer and the arts to inspire youth, strengthen communities, and create lasting connections across Miami-Dade County.

The installations include "One Game. One Youth." in Brickell, a large-scale public art installation by internationally recognized artist Dragon76 highlighting youth empowerment through sport, and "One Game. One Community." at MLK Plaza, a new work by Miami artist Nate Dee celebrating cultural diversity, local heritage, and the unifying spirit of the world's game. Together, the projects demonstrate how partnerships between arts, civic, and sports organizations can create a lasting cultural legacy that extends well beyond the FIFA World Cup 2026™.

Joseph Caleb Auditorium's Caleb Around Town Series presents "Birth of Gospel Music in America Concert"

The Joseph Caleb Auditorium’s Caleb Around Town – Black Birth Music Series proudly presents “Take My Hand, Precious Lord” – Birth of Gospel Music in America on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at 4:00 pm at Bethel Apostolic Temple.

The performance honors the Father of Gospel Music, Thomas A. Dorsey, through a moving musical celebration of the art form that blended secular blues and jazz rhythms with sacred lyrics to create the vibrant sound of modern gospel music. The production features acclaimed Grammy-nominated artist Johnny Sanders, Faith on Full Ensemble, Francine Ealey Murphy, and storyteller Crystal Walker, promising a memorable evening filled with passionate vocals, emotional expression, and rich harmonies.
