Looking for funding for your arts project? The Knight Arts Challenge supports the best ideas for bringing South Florida together through the arts. Anyone can apply. All it takes is 150 words to fill out the initial application.

CGO WORKSHOP FOR FIRST-TIME USERS

The Culture Grants Online (CGO) workshops cover the basics of applying through the Department of Cultural Affairs' web-based grants system and will be held on Thursday, February 5 at 2:00 PM at the Department of Cultural Affairs. All first-time applicants that will apply to the following FY2014-15 Fourth Quarter grant programs should attend:

Audience Access (AUD) Grant Workshop

Tuesday, February 3rd - 3:00 PM

 

The AUD grant workshop is designed to provide information about the Audience Access (AUD) grant program (see below) as well as ADA/Accessibility resources and requirements.

 

Special guest presenter Heidi Johnson-Wright, Director of Miami-Dade County ADA Coordination will explain what is required of arts organizations under the ADA, provide helpful information and answer your ADA/access questions.

Applications are now open to apply to the Audience Access (AUD) Grant Program. 

 

The Audience Access (AUD) Grant Program is designed to provide funding to promote and help pay for arts program ADA/access technology and services, such as American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters, captioning, audio description, materials in accessible format, ADA/access training, and other such services to ensure programmatic access for audiences of all abilities.  This program is not intended to provide assistance in funding capital/facilities projects or improvements, such as construction, renovation or major equipment purchases.
