Tourist Development Grants Program (TDC)

A quarterly program which provides support to significant cultural and/or special events, including sports activities and television/film origination projects that promote Miami-Dade County’s appeal as a tourist destination. Activities must be able to stimulate tourism and have significant media impact for Miami-Dade County.

South Florida Cultural Consortium
Visual and Media Artists Grant

The South Florida Cultural Consortium, an alliance of the arts councils of Broward, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe and Palm Beach Counties grants visual and media artists with awards at either the $15,000 or $7,500 level. These awards are among the largest such honors accorded by local arts agencies to visual and media artists in the United States. Established 1988, the SFCC has awarded over $4 million in grants to more than 300 artists. In addition to receiving the grant, the artists take part in an exhibition hosted and organized by a visual arts institution in one of the five counties.

Art in Public Places Program

Art in Public Places Artists Call: North Bay Village Hall & Safety Complex

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS DEADLINE:  Monday, September 22, 2025, 11:59PM
ELIGIBILITY: Open to professional visual artists based in the United States.
BUDGET: $537,000.00

Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs through its Art in Public Places Program on behalf of North Bay Village request artist qualifications for public art commissions at the North Bay Village Hall and Safety Complex.

Funds Available for Artist Emergencies
Virtual Information Sessions

Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grants Program provides grants of up to $5,000 for recent, unexpected medical, dental, and mental health emergencies experienced by artists in financial need who are creating in the visual arts, film/video/electronic/digital arts, or choreography. Privacy is guaranteed. Cycle 32 is open through September 9 for emergencies that occurred February 1, 2025 and after. Cycle 33 will be open October 7 - November 4 for emergencies occurring April 1, 2025 and after.
The NYFA Grants team will host a virtual information session over Zoom on Tuesday, August 19 from 2:00-3:00 PM ET. This information session will cover program guidelines, the application, and will include a Q&A opportunity. Registration is required for the live info session.

Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grants Program provides dancers anywhere in the US in dire financial emergency, experiencing illness, or injury, with a one-time Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grant of up to $3,000. Cycle 20 opens September 9 - October 7 for essential expenses including rent, utilities, medicine/healthcare, and food. Bimonthly cycles will follow.The NYFA Grants team will host a virtual information session over Zoom on Wednesday, August 27 from 3:00-4:00 PM ET. This information session will cover program guidelines, the application, and will include a Q&A opportunity. Registration is required for the live info session.

As the financial fuel for over 1,000 nonprofits, this community-wide event is The Miami Foundation’s largest annual initiative to help build a thriving Greater Miami.

Give Miami Day helps make the vital work of nonprofits possible. 100% of donations raised are flexible, meaning nonprofits can use the money they receive for what their missions need most. This day is the biggest annual fundraiser for hundreds of nonprofits.
