Tourist Development Council Grants Program (TDC)

A quarterly program which provides support to significant cultural and/or special events, including sports activities and television/film origination projects that promote Miami-Dade County’s appeal as a tourist destination. Activities must be able to stimulate tourism and have significant media impact for Miami-Dade County.

The Miami Foundation
Community Grants - Deadline February 24, 2022


The Community Grants program is The Miami Foundation’s largest application-based grant program for nonprofits working throughout Miami-Dade County. Every year funds are activated to address Greater Miami's current needs and greatest opportunities. This year, in partnership with generous philanthropists, Community Grants will once again invest in critical local resources and action to advance equity for all Greater Miami residents.

New this year is the Inspiring Arts and Culture funding category, which will invest in the power of the arts to strengthen Miami’s diverse community. The Sustainable Environment category has beenupdatedto focus on environmental health and climate resilience. Funding categories also include Access to Health and Wellness, Economic Stability, and Thriving Youth and Families.  

Visit the website for details and information. All interested nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply to the initial Idea Stage. Applications deadline is Thursday, February 24, 2022.

Call To Artists: Exhibition Proposals

Submission Deadline: March 13, 2022, 11:59pm


Eligibility: Professional visual artists based in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe Counties. 

MIA Galleries invites South Florida visual artists to submit a proposal for a temporary exhibition at Miami International Airport. Selected proposals will have an average exhibition period of three months on display and scheduled to open between September 2022 and November 2024.

Artists may submit a proposal to one or two of the following opportunities. Only one application per opportunity will be accepted.

Fine Art Photography and Photo-based work

2D and 3D Artwork (except Photography and Video Art)

City of Coral Gables FY22-23 Cultural Grant Workshop


The City of Coral Gables invites nonprofit 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), and eligible cultural organizations to attend a Cultural Grants Workshop/Public Meeting with members of the City’s Cultural Development Board and staff. The workshop will be for the purpose of explaining the City of Coral Gables Cultural Grant process for Fiscal Year 2022-2023.

Please note that attendance at the workshop is mandatory for cultural grant eligibility. We highly encourage the primary contact for this application to attend as the organization's representative.

Americans for the Arts - National Arts Action Summit

Join Americans for the Arts, organizational partners, state arts leaders, and hundreds of advocates from March 28-30, 2022, for the National Arts Action Summit. Over these three days, advocates will gain a depth of knowledge from policy experts from around the country and many organizational Partners in an all-virtual setting.

Americans for the Arts is offering free registration to the National Arts Action Summit this year for all attendees.

Arts4All Florida Webinars


Arts4All Florida provides webinars during the school year so that teaching artists, classroom teachers, cultural arts organizations, parents, and adult artists with disabilities can keep up to date on the latest information in arts and disability. The webinars are provided free of charge; however, registration is required.

Perfect for students as well as active professional interpreters, this workshop focuses on developing the skills and techniques needed to interpret a musical concert or stage play for a Deaf audience. How to transliterate song lyrics from English-to-ASL (Gloss)

How to incorporate movement (dance) with lyrics

How to infuse rhythm to set the tone of the meaning of the song

The Art of Poetry

Poetry is essential in life and the classroom. This webinar will discuss ways to present rhyme, free verse, metaphor, movement, and spoken word relevantly, effortlessly, artfully, and joyously. We will celebrate poetry as an art form that promotes not only literacy, reading comprehension, and critical thinking skills, but builds and bridges inroads and aptitude in all academic subjects for students with and without disabilities. The webinar will present poetry as the engaging and creative art form it is by exploring mixed media word art and examples of Erasure, black out poetry, the poetics of “Poemedy” and eloquence in spoken word.
