Community Grants Program: This is a quarterly program for non-profit organizations developing small to medium scale community-based cultural programs, projects and events, such as fairs, parades, neighborhood festivals, conferences and publications.

Site Plan Options

Work on the site plan options for the Coconut Grove Playhouse is underway by the County’s design team led by Arquitectonica International Corporation. This process is being informed by the team’s theater consultants, Fisher Dachs Associates; structural engineer, Douglas Wood Associates; and historic preservation architect, Jorge Hernandez, among other design team members.

The Miami-Dade Tourist Development Council is soliciting nominations to fill five (5) vacancies on the board. Individuals meeting the qualifications and interested in the vacancies should submit a cover letter and resume to the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, 111 N.W. 1st Street, Suite 625, Miami, FL 33128; via fax (305) 375-3068 or via email at ndb1@miamidade.gov by Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 4:00 p.m.

The design team led by Arquitectonica International Corporation and under contract to Miami-Dade County is continuing its work on the initial phase of the project: Program Verification and Site Planning.  Demonstrative tasks that have been completed and/or are currently in progress and which will inform the development of the site plan include:
