COMING SOON: Grants for Arts Organizations
By the middle of August, the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs will have online guidelines and an application form available for the new Miami-Dade Arts Support grants program ready to accept requests by arts and cultural organizations. Organizations will be notified by the Department of their maximum funding request amount available for their eligible expenses. We are working to confirm that these CARES Act funds can be used to address eligible business interruption costs, COVID-19 expenses, and programming adaptations (e.g., virtual programming necessitated by the pandemic), between March 1 and December 30, 2020.
COMING SOON: Grants for Artists
By the middle of August, the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs will activate the guidelines and application form on the Submittable online platform for requests by artists and artist-entrepreneurs. At this time, these funds will be available for artists of all disciplines and artist-entrepreneurs who have been negatively impacted by COVID-19 and have not already received support from the Miami-Dade Artists Support! (MAS!) Program. Stay tuned for specific details.
