Souto, District 10, the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department at the site of the Westchester Cultural Arts Center at the main entrance of Tropical Park, 7930 SW 40th Street, Miami, FL 33155 on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 5:30 PM EST.
Funded by the voter-approved Building Better Communities General Obligation Bond program, the Westchester Cultural Arts Center will provide cultural programming and instruction focusing on Hispanic arts and culture. The Center was designed by Zyscovich Architects and features 11,000 square feet of new construction, including a main theater building with its supporting spaces and a lobby area which will serve as an art gallery. The state-of-the-art cultural center is being built by TGSV Enterprises, Inc., a construction company selected through a competitive process. The Center will offer exciting new cultural and recreational programs in one of the County’s most popular recreational resources and principally serve the families and children in the western region of Miami-Dade County.
The Westchester Cultural Arts Center will not be open to the public until later in the fall of this year. When there is a better estimate for the completion of the facility contact information regarding the use of the Center will be posted on this page.
