WHAT IS THE GOLDEN TICKET ARTS GUIDE?
The guide provides free tickets to the arts for seniors who are residents of Miami-Dade County! The Golden Ticket Arts Guide features FREE cultural offerings for Miami-Dade County senior residents, ages 62 and over. Seniors can enjoy everything included in the Golden Ticket Arts Guide free of charge.
HOW DO I OBTAIN A COPY OF THE GOLDEN TICKET ARTS GUIDE? Call (305) 499-8755
It’s very easy to request a Golden Ticket Arts Guide. Simply call 305-499-8755 or complete the Golden Ticket mailing list form and provide your name, address and contact number to be added to the 2019-2020 mailing list and receive your free copy via US Mail in the fall. Golden Ticket guides are also available for pick-up at local Miami-Dade Public Library System branches and Miami-Dade County Commission district offices. Contact your local library for availability.

HOW DO I USE THE GOLDEN TICKET ARTS GUIDE?
First, review the guide to find events or cultural venues that you would like to visit. Seniors are required to call the corresponding organization to make a reservation as the Golden Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis. Golden Tickets will be available two weeks before an event. We recommend you call as early as possible to reserve your ticket. Check each listing and organization for specific information.
The day of the event you must clip a Golden Ticket coupon from the guide and fill out the back with the appropriate information. At the venue entrance you must present the following:
- Golden Ticket coupon per person
- Photo ID showing proof of age (62 years) and Miami-Dade County residency
- Senior centers or large groups that wish to attend a Golden Ticket event/venue must contact the participating organization in advance to make special Group Visit arrangements.
HOW DO I GET TO THE EVENTS?
Do you need transportation to attend one of these great cultural events? Seniors who are 65 years of age and are permanent residents of Miami-Dade County are eligible to ride Miami-Dade Transit FREE with a Golden Passport transit pass. HOW DO CULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS/ ARTS PARTNERS PARTICIPATE?
Are you a cultural organization interested in participating in the Golden Ticket program? It is easy to join and reach out to Miami-Dade County seniors. To participate in the program please visit the Golden Ticket partner organization page for details. The Department is currently accepting event listings for the 2019-2020 "Last Minute Email Offers" Click here to access the Golden Ticket Arts Guide event submission form. Events should take place betwen October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020 for inclusion in the publication. The deadline to submit your events is the first of the month. Questions?
