Prior to joining NDI, Escalante served as the Executive Director of the José Limón Dance Foundation for nine years. Escalante secured the organization’s fiscal health through enhancing revenue and sustainable strategies while honoring the Board’s institutional goals and Artistic Director’s vision. Escalante returned to Miami from New York City to serve in his current role as Executive Director of Miami City Ballet.
