Matt Saurusaitis is the Box Office Manager at Miami City Ballet, Florida’s Internationally Acclaimed Company, in Miami Beach, FL. Matt, who has 15 years of experience in the ticketing industry, is responsible for overseeing the operation of Box Office ticketing and customer service functions in the tri-county area. Miami City Ballet performs in three South Florida counties consisting of Miami and Miami Dade, Ft. Lauderdale and Broward and West Palm Beach and Palm Beach. His roles include training, monitoring, managing and supervising Box Office staff, resolving ticket-related customer issues, assisting with front-of-house management and serving as ticketing liaison with staff and the three major tri-county venues.

Matt is known to put on and wear multiple hats and always goes above and beyond the call of duty besides his field of ticketing as he assists various departments within Miami City Ballet. Matt has taken on the task as serving as ADA coordinator at Miami City Ballet. Matt in this role also serves as coordinator and point of contact for the combined services of Touch Tours and Audio Description for select performances by the Miami City Ballet. Matt is also a member of FLACA (Florida Coalition for the Arts). Matt was awarded in 2012 the LEAD Award for Emerging Leaders from The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for making the cultural arts more inclusive and accessible to people with disabilities and older adults.
