How Do Cultural Organizations/ Arts Partners Participate?

The Department is currently collecting event information for the 2022 Golden Ticket Senior Arts Guide. Events should take place between January 1, 2022 through September 30, 2022.
How Does the Program Work?
The Golden Ticket Senior Arts Guide is produced annually. Organizations that wish to participate in the 2022 Golden Ticket Arts Guide set aside an allotment of “tickets” to donate to the program for seniors or senior centers to use on a first come, first served basis. Seniors who secure a Golden Ticket are provided admission to the listed functions or visit the venue free-of-charge.
Seniors and senior activity centers must call the box office or admission desk to make a reservation. Golden Ticket reservations are available to the public two weeks before an event. Participating organization set and track the number of Golden Ticket reservations per program/per day. Golden Tickets are provided to seniors on a first come, first served basis. On the day of the visit, seniors must clip out and present a Golden Ticket coupon at the organization's box office or admission desk with a photo ID confirming they meet program criteria of Miami-Dade County residency and at least 62 years of age to receive free admission. Each Golden Ticket coupon is good for one senior admission.
