POSITION PURPOSE
Reporting to the Director, EAC Miami, the Marketing Manager will oversee the implementation of marketing strategies for
the inaugural experiential art center (EAC) in Miami. To this end, they will manage all marketing mediums and partners at
the local level. They will work in partnership with HQ to ensure there is a cohesive strategy from both a brand and financial
perspective to drive ticket sales and net profitability. She/he/they will be passionate about establishing and marketing the
EAC’s brand, continuously looking for creative approaches to original marketing partnerships especially with local
community members, exciting advocates, bold media choices, and dynamic marketing content.
 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Miami Marketing & PR Management
• Manages local marketing mediums & media agency in conjunction with HQ marketing team
• Works with the Marketing team to communicate key learnings and community trends to drive additional business
• Assists in content creation (newsletters, blogs, videos, etc.) and distribution strategy (social, trade publications,
website, partner sites, etc.)
• On-site point person for PR firm and post launch media management
• Manages group sales programs and assists in creation of unique ticketing programs that increase sales
opportunities and overall revenue
Partnerships & Programming
• Promotes company through local creative guerilla and other non-traditional marketing strategies
• Develops local promotional partnerships to maximize budget and extend awareness
• Designs and implements effective outreach strategies to connect with local communities, schools, and
philanthropic organizations
• Fosters and maintains community and partner relations
• Develops timely special programming to enhance brand message while driving consumer and industry awareness
• Coordinates and executes internal events and programming for EAC Miami
• Works with catering partner to drive event sales, facilitate site visits, and ensure success of all on-site events
Analytics & Data
• Monitors and reports to the team on the competitive marketing landscape in the cultural sector and trends in the
arts industry and local market.
• In collaboration with HQ marketing, conducts on-site research, tracks customer data and analyzes ticket sales to
input key audience insights into marketing and media plan development.
• Produces post exhibition reports by liaising with our media agency and using internal reporting tools
• Works with the Director, EAC and finance at HQ to administer the processing of invoices and ensure marketing
costs remain within budget

KEY CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive responsibility in a related industry where individual/group sales to consumers
is the core revenue stream
• Tourism marketing experience a plus
• Media buying experience a plus
• Working knowledge of buyer behaviour, path to purchase or media tracking and data analytics
• Business development skills in the creation of new concepts and related partners
• Goal oriented and entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with a willingness to learn
• Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail in order to maximize opportunities
• Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changes in consumer behavior
• Advanced knowledge of all SEO, website and social media programs
• Indesign and photoshop skills
• Relationship to communities in Miami
• Creative vision, initiative, and adaptability as this role continues to evolve
