absolute transformation of South Beach and Wynwood, and in time, opened the Rubell Museum, an important arts institution in Allapattah. Their impressive art collection is one of the world’s largest, with more than 7,400 works. In 2022, they opened their second museum, the Rubell Museum DC in Washington, D.C. Instrumental in bringing the Art Basel art fair to Miami Beach, Mera and Don Rubell have helped establish a solid foundation for the future of Miami’s impressive visual arts scene.
