WHO: Children and youth with and without disabilities, ages 6-17*
Participating students must be residents of Miami-Dade County
* youth with disabilities welcome up to age 22

WHAT: Have fun, make friends, make art, and get creative!
Daily program activities include visual arts, music, dance/fitness, theater and yoga.

WHERE:  Miami Elks Lodge #948 | 10301 SW 72 Street | Miami, FL 33173

ORIENTATION: Saturday, June 8, 2024 - 12 Noon (in-person at The Elk's Lodge)

CAMP DATES: June 17 - July 26, 2024 (No class June 19 and July 4)

DAYS/TIMES:  Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM (extended care available 4 – 6 PM)

FEES:  $180 total per student*

*Includes reduced enrollment for student/teacher ratios, 28 full-day sessions, extended care, meals/snacks, AKI t-shirts, supplies, special activities and culminating event:  a combined value of over $2,500! 

Special thanks to The Children's Trust and Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs for their generous support of this year's AKI-YAP Creative Summer Camp which has enabled us to significantly reduce program fees this summer!

ATTENDANCE:  On time arrival, consistent attendance and participation are required in this program! 
Students must commit to the entire six-week session.


About: Youth Arts in the Parks Creative Summer Camp 2024 is presented by Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with Arts for Learning/Miami.  Youth Arts in the Parks Creative Summer Camp is an inclusive, socially-oriented arts program for children and youth with and without disabilities.  Campers will enjoy a fun and educational program that teaches kids of all abilities multidisciplinary arts and creative expression in an inclusive setting.  Instruction is led by professional artists/art teachers, certified instructors and disability experts.  Activities include visual arts, music, dance/fitness, theater and yoga.  No prior experience is required.

Space is Limited! Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Submitting a registration form does not guarantee a spot in the program. Once program capacity is reached, individuals submitting registration forms will be placed on a waiting list. Participating students must be residents of Miami-Dade County.

Only registration forms that are fully completed and submitted with payment in full via PayPal will be accepted for enrollment.  Program registration fees are non-refundable.

Registration Deadline:  
All registration forms must be received by May 17, 2024.  Payment must be made in full to secure registration.

To Register:  You must complete the registration form by the deadline date and submit payment in full for each student participating in the program.  Registration confirmations with payment instructions will be sent out by email within approximately one-two weeks of submitting registration forms, in the order in which they were received.
