Jane Thayer, is a Cultural Projects Administrator with over 15 years of expertise in arts administration and art-making. She manages Miami Individual Artists (MIA) grants program, which provides non-matching awards to individual artists of all disciplines in Miami-Dade County on a competitive basis to support their artistic development and practice.

Jane has a proven track record in strategically planning, producing, managing, and launching high-quality artistic projects and events on a global scale, and is renowned for her dedication and collaborative approach to her work. She has made significant contributions to esteemed organizations such as the University of Miami, Artists in Residence in Everglades (AIRIE), and the National YoungArts Foundation. Her experience includes pivotal roles as a production stage manager, notably with the Martha Graham Dance Company, and for the creation and tours of acclaimed shows by director Robert Wilson, including "Life and Death of Marina Abramovic," "Einstein on the Beach," "Zinnias: The Life of Clementine Hunter" (World Premiere, Peak Performances, January 2013), and "Old Woman" (World Premiere Manchester International Festival, July 2013), starring luminaries such as Mikhail Baryshnikov and Willem Dafoe.

Jane holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Exeter and earned her Bachelor of Arts from Goucher College.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Jane finds joy in her family, nurturing her two children, reading, exploring the outdoors, and having spontaneous adventures.
