HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?
The Golden Ticket Senior Arts Guide is produced annually. Organizations that wish to participate in the upcoming 2016-2017 Golden Ticket Arts Guide set aside an allotment of “tickets” to donate to the program for seniors or senior centers to use on a first come, first served basis. Seniors who secure a Golden Ticket are provided admission to the listed functions or visit the venue free-of-charge.
Seniors and senior activity centers must call the box office or admisision desk to make a reservation. Golden Ticket reservations are available to the public two weeks before an event. Participating organization set and track the number of Golden Ticket reservations per program/per day. Golden Tickets are provided to seniors on a first come, first served basis. On the day of the visit, seniors must clip out and present a Golden Ticket coupon at the organization's box office or admission desk wiht a photo ID comfirming they meet program criteria of Miami-Dade County residency and at least 62 years of age to receive free admission. Each Golden Ticket coupon is is good for one senior admission.
